Caribbean Temecula Restaurant

With a tantalizing blend of flavorful spices, fresh vegetables, and intriguing cultural wonder – I highly recommend taking the time to sample some of the mouth-watering (and not to mention – nutritious) plate combinations offered at this 'diamond in the rough' eatery!

On the whole, Caribbean cuisine has displayed the very best of many different worlds. A mixture of appetizing, palate-pleasing creations decorate the menu at Arriba with island delights that utilize European, East Indian, African, Chinese, South American, and many other international quirks in cooking. At the Caribbean Temecula restaurant that I speak of…a fantastic fusion of cultures come to life as colorful salads, eye-catching pasta dishes, and delicious entrees create a unique dining experience for lunch or dinner.

Caribbean Temecula Restaurant Once you become a regular at this Caribbean Temecula restaurant, you can vary your surroundings, as both indoor and outdoor dining is available. It is also not uncommon to hear the chatter of engaging conversation over a bottle of Cabernet take place on the outdoor patio, where a beautiful view of Old Town adds to the overall atmosphere and amazing cuisine.

When choosing to sit inside, I suggest you take in the experience and enjoy catching a whiff of the latest dish served, as a collection of delightful scents often seep out of the kitchen. Quite often, the chef, Fernando will come out to explain some of the dishes or to hand-deliver your meal. Are you ready for more? Why don’t we take a look at what the menu has to offer?

Exploring the Arriba Grill Menu

Caribbean Temecula Restaurant
First, I suggest you begin by sampling a selection from the tapas menu (a variety of appetizers typically associated with Spanish cuisine).

You'll soon see that it is not uncommon to order several different small tapas in order to customize a full meal.

At this Caribbean Temecula restaurant, a couple of tapas to keep an eye out for include the homemade black bean soup ($2.25/cup; $4.50/bowl), mixed greens salad with dried cranberries, cheese, and orange vinaigrette ($4.50), and shredded chicken or pork (served with pineapple chutney and a flavorful coconut shrimp for $9.95).

We had the Arriba Eggrolls (pictured above) - filled with shrimp, guajillo peppers and cheese and the mango sauce...it was heavenly! We also had the Pan-seared scallops topped with mango salsa, green papaya, pico de gallo & served with sweet chili sauce.

The flavors were so delectable that I swear I was transposed to a Caribbean island with gentle tropical breezes and the uplifting sound of steel drums playing in the distance...

Caribbean Temecula Restaurant Try selecting this Caribbean Temecula restaurant to experience a lunch amongst co-workers that makes it almost impossible to make it back to the office. Choose a jerk chicken (or pork) sandwich served with fruit chutney, papa fritas (French fries) and coleslaw for $8.95, or a meatloaf sandwich with Dijon honey spread served with home fries and black bean corn relish for $7.00.

Add a Chicken Papaya Salad (a feast all by itself) to take pleasure in the hypnotic blend of avocado, red onions, cucumber, mixed greens, and a habanero vinaigrette. Previous diners often boast that this is the best salad they've ever tasted.

Want to sample pasta Caribbean-style? Penne comes blanketed in a savory, spicy tomato sauce. Angel hair pasta surrounds sautéed shrimp dressed in tomato basil sauce. Jumbo shrimp marinated in jalapeno, lime, and cilantro will add a surprising kick to your meal.

Just hearing the words 'Macadamia-Crusted Halibut' is enough to send shivers up and down your taste buds with the promise of an exquisite mango sauce served with saffron rice and black beans. The nutty flavor is an appealing touch to the tenderly cooked fish. I ordered the Jerk Salmon - it was truly delectable - with the delicious delicate flavors of fruits and spices. I can truly understand why it's a favorite amongst patrons, who come to indulge in the addictive blend of jerk spices and grilled cuisine.

Caribbean Temecula Restaurant When heading for this Caribbean Temecula restaurant for dinner, you'll encounter typical entrees, such as a New York Steak with caramelized onions and grilled skirt steak (only this time served with pico de gallo). A lightly flavored and slightly toasted bread also accompanies your dinner.

To satisfy your craving for plantains (often used as a dessert banana), order the roasted pork shoulder or grilled chicken breast that comes with an order of this island favorite, black beans, saffron rice, and coleslaw for less than $13.

At the end of your meal, if you still have room – I dare you to ignore the Arriba Supreme. Two scoops of vanilla ice cream served in a deep fried tortilla shell, drenched in sweet sautéed strawberries and dusted with cinnamon is the perfect ending to a storybook meal, don’t you think?

Caribbean Fusion Catering

If you'd like to enjoy the delicious cuisine of this Caribbean Temecula restaurant for your next event, keep in mind that they also provide catering. This is no longer a secret, as the Painted Garden by Lorena located in Old Town has already chosen Arriba Grill as one of her caterers when holding private garden parties in the evening.

The Arriba Grill is located opposite Rosa's Cantina on 41971 Main Street and if you have any questions about the hours of operation, food or catering, simply call this impressive Caribbean Temecula restaurant at 951-676-7305.
