July Temecula Events Celebrating Independence Day with Flair

The Old Town
Temecula Community Theater
is definitely the place to be when it comes to exploring July Temecula events because this is where a popular jazz festival will unleash talent that spans worldwide appeal.
Remember to purchase tickets ahead of time for this special event which includes popular names such as James Torme (7/10); Richie Cole, Jimmy Mulidore, and Sal Marquez (7/11); and Gerald Wilson Big Band Orchestra and Herb Jeffries (7/12).

7/4 Star Spangled Fourth of July Parade (10am 11am) The annual 4th of July parade is just the event to kick off a day filled with family fun, food, and fireworks.

7/7 Family Karaoke Night (6:30pm 8:30pm)
Head on out to the Community Recreation Center located at 30875 Rancho Vista Road to enjoy an entertaining summer night with the family.

7/11 Aglow in the Park (5:30pm 10pm) The Ronald Reagan Sports Park (30875 Rancho Vista Road) will serve as the location for the 2nd annual 'Aglow in the Park' balloon event with onsite food vendors, complimentary 'Movie in the Park' ("Surf's Up"), and the Surf City Allstars a delightful band that covers Beach Boys tunes. 7/21 Snack Shack (6:30pm 8:30pm) I suggest you bring along your appetite for this appetizing family-friendly experience that teaches guests how to create snacks the whole family will enjoy. Pay a visit to the Community Recreation Center to take part in this free event.
7/28 Skate Night (6:30pm 8:30pm) Enjoy this fun outing with the family, as the Margarita Community Park Hockey Arena (29119 Margarita Road) opens its doors to provide a memorable summer skate night.

When it comes to independence why dont you free up a little of your time to check out the festivities stirring at the South Coast Winery Resort & Spa (34843 Rancho California Road)? 7/19 Woofs and Purrs in the Vines Oak Mountain Winery (3pm 7pm) Our four-legged friends suffer from their fair share of medical woes. At this event, participants will have a chance to give back by helping to raise money for medical expenses to treat cats and dogs with diabetes. 7/19 Sunset Jazz in the Vines Wilson Creek Winery (7pm) While you settle into an evening filled with listening to the smooth, romantic rhythms of guitarist Craig Chaquico and saxophonist Eric Darius you will also contribute to this 'Children with Autism' charity event. 7/30 4th Annual Temecula Wine Competition Heading into its fourth year, July Temecula events wouldnt be complete if there weren't local blends vying for the affection of tasters.
All wineries located in Riverside County are invited to show off their vineyard talents.
Next head over to Wien's Winery (35055 Via Del Ponte) to enjoy the "Temecula Days of Wine and Roses" dinner that follows the Riverside judging.
At the dinner samples of winning wines will be present and open to the public for the cost of $50 per guest. I should warn you tickets are limited so call Vicki Nelson quickly at 951-926-1160 to place your reservation (which is required in order to enjoy this event).

7/10 7/13 If you love jazz music then you won't want to miss out on the
Temecula Valley International Jazz Festival
which will deliver one of the finest musical July Temecula events in town. Some of the performers to look forward to includes the Ed Johnson Jazz Band with Jennifer Scott, and Ernestine Anderson.

Why not take a limousine ride to the coast this month?
As part of July Temecula events found at the local casino, there is a Native American celebration welcoming all, as well as a welcomed trip back to the days of 60s and 70s music.
7/4 7/6 Pechanga Pow Wow Everyone is welcome to absorb the cultural energy of this free annual event, which is entering its 13th year.

7/26 Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons (8pm) It is at the Showroom of the casino that an unforgettable icon of American music will perform hits of the 60s and 70s that are still recognizable to the younger generations.
