Outside of the tasting room, the landscaping provides the perfect setting for joyous get-togethers, romantic stolen kisses, and hand holding through the glare of the inviting sunlight. Many wine tasting parties, concerts, weddings, and picnics have unfolded on the Keyways Temecula Winery grounds.
When you venture to the outdoor tasting barn, the sight of majestic Arabian horses in the nearby pasture will certainly soothe the soul.

Brief History
If you're curious about the history of Keyways Temecula Winery, the original vineyards were planted in the middle of the 1960s and served as testing grounds for the Temecula Valley. The winery opened its doors to the public in 1989 when an Orange County restaurateur and real estate investor named Carl Kay wished to elevate the surrounding wine country.
Over the years, the winery has undergone a transformation, as the new owner Terri Pebley (as of 2004) not only elevated Keyways into a wonderland of hearty wines and ever-evolving events, but also became the first woman to own and manage a winery in Temecula - joining the few to do so in all of California.
