Not only does the Temecula Film Festival deliver one day of stimulating events, but many more – as a film buff can enjoy endless chances to mingle with in-your-face stars, as well as behind-the-scenes geniuses who come to take part in this extravaganza of excitement.

Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival

Temecula Film Festival With an assortment of film screenings, award ceremonies, workshops, and a black-tie affair – thousand upon thousands mark their calendars for this extraordinary opportunity.

Brief History

The Temecula Film Festival has become a watering hole for some of the most influential and upcoming filmmakers and musicians. Stretching across the United States and beyond, participants gather to take pleasure in traditions stirring since 1995. During the 2006 festivities, more than 300 producers, writers, composers, agents, musicians, filmmakers, directors, cast, and crew joined in.

In the past, the festival has sent home recognizable icons in the industry with a Lifetime Career Achievement Award, including the likes of Dionne Warwick, Rita Coolidge, Marsha Mason, Louis Gossett, Jr, and Patty Duke.

It is here that a wide-range of film and music spanning the realms of Animation, Student Films, Full Length Features, Shorts, and Documentaries are judged during the Temecula Film Festival. The sounds of R&B, Latin, jazz, pop, and country all compete for top honors in the music competition.

Temecula Film Festival You should also know that the Annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival is presented by the Cinema Entertainment Alliance – a nonprofit arts and education organization devoted to the celebration of film and music on a worldwide basis.

While the festival has taken place in September, the dates and location may vary from year-to-year. So I suggest you check out the events page around the month of September for the current year to receive more information on the date, time and the price of tickets and screenings. To help keep you up-to-date with where each festival is being held, the month, time and current ticket pricing - we offer a free email newsletter called 'Tales of Temecula' for your convenience.

Tickets

The prices stated below are examples from past film festival events and may vary from year to year, so do check the price before you go ahead and order your tickets. Temecula Film Festival Opening night festivities usually kicks off with exciting displays of color and electric energy with a vintage car parade, red carpet welcome, as well as movie premiere party. Typically, this part of the festival takes place at Movie Experience (Tower Plaza) with admission at $25 for the screening and party together.

Friday and Saturday is often set aside for the MusicFest Extravaganza (typically held at the Courtyard – Tower Plaza), where unsigned musicians showcase their talent. A Film/Music Pass for this event costs $15.

The free Festival Marketplace offers a paradise where shoppers often come away with unique crafts and industry-related items. The Tower Plaza is a common location for this event.

However, I think some of the best experiences at this festival involve the various workshops and panels offered, where one can get tips and ask questions pertaining to Screenwriting, Directing, Acting, and Producing. An individual workshop costs $10, while a Workshop Series Pass is $25.

Temecula Film Festival At the end of the festival, a closing black-tie awards gala – typically held at the Pechanga Resort & Casino Ballroom, which allows participants to pay their respects to the icons that make film and music what it is today.

Admission is $100 per person to enjoy this event.

While you can enjoy individual events associated with the Temecula Film Festival for about $10 to $25 each. If you think you will be returning to see more than one event, I suggest you go for the gusto and purchase a All-Access Pass, it works out to be an easier and much better deal and gives you access to the entire celebration for $200.

For additional information on General Admission tickets, festival packages, and events – I suggest you call 951-699-5514 or visit www.tviff.com.
