Temecula Wine Country & Limousines

by Betty
(Ca.)

Wine lovers come from all over Southern California to tour the Temecula wine country in limos, Suv's and partybus to taste the award winning wines that the wineries have to offer. There are over 20 wineries in Temecula wine country and more are being built as I write this.

The wine country is getting packed on the weekends from wine lovers that just want to enjoy the California sun and their favorite drink - 'wine'. I know if I went to 5 different wineries (a normal wine tour) to learn about wine and tasting the samples of the wine they have to offer, I would be intoxicated.

That is why I would rent a limousine so I wouldn't get a DUI or even worse have an accident and hurt someone. The wineries are getting overwhelmed with the Temecula wine country limousines so now the limos aren't allowed at some of the wineries, or you have to make a reservation a couple days to a week in advance, or not come after a certain time of day. You would think that a business that makes and serves alcohol would want people to come and sample what they have made in hopes of selling a bottle.

In reality they are only going to buy the wine they really love and not a bottle from every sample they try. If wine lovers get intoxicated to the point of disrupting other guests 'you have the right to refuse service to the intoxicated people.' Don't punish the limo companies for keeping intoxicated people out of their cars and off the roads. The wineries would not be building or adding on if it were not for wine lovers. Maybe the wineries need to hire more employees for there expanding business that the wine lovers have brought them so they can handle the growing crowds on the weekends.

I know a lot of Temecula wine country limousines that do not stock beer and alcohol on wine tours, they know wine and alcohol do not mix and don't want sick people in the limo. Is there a solution to help make Temecula Wine Country Enjoyable and safe for all?
